Barrow police called to domestic assault in the early hours

POLICE attended a report of an alleged domestic assault in the early hours of yesterday.
The incident happened at around 2.45am in the West Shore area of Walney.
The female victim suffered minor injuries and is not thought to have needed hospital treatment.
A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and was this morning awaiting interview in police custody.
